My next door neighbor built a 16' X 30' building with a metal roof and
siding a couple of years ago. He sold the place and a young couple purchased
the property. The new neighbor wanted to get rid of the building because it
didn't have a floor and his tools got dusty. One of my other neighbors ( a
farmer) loaned me his 30' trailer. To make a long story short the building
is now on my property. Total cost one week of work.

A gift doesn't count as a gloat.

You have to take advantage of someone's ignorance or error. (though I
suppose finding something counts also; I am not sure how that fits in)

Perhaps I've mislabeled mine, then. I try not to take advantage of
people, and I certainly wouldn't brag about it in any forum if I had.
I'd consider a nice unexpected gift a gloat, but I suppose everyone's
got their own ideas about it.

Finally. After reading about people getting a Unisawr for $50 or 200 bf
of teak for $30, I have a gloat (sort of). Our town has an annual
rummage sale run by the Women's Club (or WC) to raise money for
community projects. I found a baggie containing a center head and
reversible protractor head for my Starret combo square, plus a
machinists/turners dividers, and some miscellaneous pointers and clips.
All for $10.

You duly sucketh!

I don't watch baseball, but the ball cap would keep finish out of my
air or the sun out my eyes while flying, so $1 is another sucker!
