|
|
Hi! This is my first post here!
I own a 15 years old Pionner amplifier/tuner.
Yesterday I bought an electric guitar. This is a USB guitar with an
headphone jack in it. (there is also a TS/Unbalanced output but I
prefer using the headphone output since my computer run a software that
act like a guitar amplifier). By the way, it plays greatly with
headphone pluged in.
Now I want to play through monitor speakers.
The question is in which input of my old Pionner Amp/Tuner the cable
must be plug. I have 3 inputs: AUX, TAPE MONITOR and PHONO.
Maybe I will buy a guitar amp in a few months but now it do the job
(the software). Oh and my guitar is the iAXE393 USB-GUITAR
(http://www.behringer.com/IAXE393/index.cfm?lang=ENG).
Need help. Don't want to scrap my guitar by mistake! ;-)
Rock on!
Joe. |

Why did you buy a USB guitar if all you use is the analog output?
To answer your question, you could try the 'aux' input of your Pioneer.
You'll need the appropriate adapter cable....

No, I want to plug the output design for headphones (this is not the
"standard" output that is on every guitar). That guitar got two
different output. Unbalanced/TS and TRS for 1/4 jack headphones.
Why I bought a USB guitar? Because I am a beginner and that was the
best choice at only 99$ bucks! A great value for the price. The review
on Internet is incredible. That came with a bundle of softwares to
emulate good 'old amps. I love it. It sounds great. I know that it is
not like a "real" amp but again I am a beginner. I just dont want to
spend 350$ bucks or more now.
AUX sounds "amplification"... nah? I want to reproduce what I am
hearing in headphones on speakers sometime... by bypassing
amplification... They call it monitoring? ;-)
So any help?

Again I have the choice of 3 inputs,
=>AUX
=>TAPE MONITOR
=>PHONO
What is the best regarding the sound quality based on the output of the
guitar which is just like the same as a computer sound card (not sure
but almost ;-)
Thanks. |

Like I said before: AUX. Here, let me spell it for you A U X.... |
Oh hell...try 'em all. You won't hurt anything if you're careful with
the volume control.
