I recently replaced the engine in my 2000 buick park ave, the 3.8l
engine I put back had 13,000 miles on it and runs great but I noticed
when I had the engine on the stand that the throttle linkage seemed to
stick closed a little bit but I figured it was from sitting and would
probably stop on its own. Now with 2000 miles on the swap there is no
difference in the throttle. Whats strange is that the throttle only
sticks closed slightly when the car has been sitting long enough to run
in the store or something and that once you push the throttle one time
it will not stick again until the car has been sitting for a while
again.
