Hello--

A friend of mine bought some "dormant potted roses" at a local drug store--
Mr. Lincoln, Oklahoma, and Snowfire--and they're from C/R Roses, Inc., in
Tyler, TX. He lives in Williamsburg, VA--which is Zone 7B.

Can these roses be planted now, or should he wait for a couple of more
weeks? Additionally, where should they be stored until planting--is an
enclosed storage shed OK, or someplace else--such as the *utility/mud room*?

According to the package info on these roses, they are supposed to have
morning sun preferably. I told my friend they need to have sun most of the
day--and the place where he wants to put them is moderately shady in the
afternoons--so I wonder if they will work out where he wants to put them.

I'm a *rose novice* myself, so that's why I'm asking here. Thank for the
help--

Jean in VA
