I am building an 18' mahogany runabout. Besides the engine, I am
going to need all the specialized hardware such as shafts, props,
rudder, stuffing box, exhaust ports, water pickup, etc..

I am aware of Glen-L but I would like to know if anyone knows of any
other suppliers in North America.

Many pieces on your list are available from Spartan Marine:

As well as (via distributors) Buck Algonquin:

There is a guy just east of Montreal, in Cnambly, who should be able to
help you out.

I'd bet that's "Chambly" as in "Basin DeChambly" Also because N is next
to H on the keyboard :-)

I'm a long way from Lake Champlain right now, but I plan to dive in
about July 4th 2005...

Also, look up "OSCO" for low-cost decent exhaust manifolds...
