Well Triton was true to their word. They have responded positively to
customer feedback and redesigned the air hose and connectors for the
Triton Powered Respirator. The new retrofit kit arrived the other day
and "wow" … what a difference. The hose is flexible which makes the
unit so much more comfortable to wear (no more helmet movement caused
by the stiff hose). The new connectors and fitting are also great.
The pressure-fit connection has been replaced by a half turn threaded
fitting at both ends (so much easier to connect and disconnect).

It is really nice to see a company respond to favourably and quickly
to customer feedback. Kudos to Triton!

FYI: If you are looking for a Triton respirator or retrofit kit, my
personal experience with Galbraith Enterprises has been great. You
can find a link on www.gbwg.ca (in the classified section).

Regards,
